GAME OF THRONES Season 7 to return sometime after April 2017

Fans will have to wait even longer for Game of Thrones Season 7 because production needs gloomy weather to film in.

In an interview with UFC Unfiltered podcast, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss had confirmed that filming for Game of Thrones season 7 will most likely be delayed in order to get the natural gloomyness of the weather needed for the show.

For seasons, the show has warned that “Winter is coming.” Well, now that we’re in the final two seasons of the series, inevitably, they have to show that winter has finally arrived, thus the series will not premiere in April as it has done so in previous seasons.

“No … we don’t have an airdate yet, but this year it’ll probably be a bit later, ’cause we’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘winter is here,’ and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim, grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”

It’ll be a long summer for us Game of Thrones fans, but it’ll be all worth it when it returns, to be sure.

In the meantime, it looks like some of the stars aren’t having any problems filling their free time with some R&R, and also some charity work.

Emilia Clarke likes big trucks.

Sophie Turner spent time getting up to date on fashion.

Maisie Williams apparently had gone to a Beyonce concert and dressed for the occasion.

But before that, she went with Lena Heady and Liam Cunningham to spend some with the IRC visiting several areas to make aware the refugee crisis going on and the over 57k Syrian refugees in need of help.
