GAME OF THRONES’ Special Effects Supervisor Sam Conway teases what we’ll be seeing for season 7 of the HBO Fantasy Drama.
If you look into the Game of Thrones season 7 special effects featurette, you’ll see how certain scenes were enhanced with the use of special effects, aka CGI, along with practical effects whenever possible.
You get glimpses of Dany riding Drogon, her most beloved and most erractic of her three dragons. You’ll also see Dany as she burns the Khals meeting house down, as well as how they created the scene in which the dragons burn the ships.
But of course, they also have to deal with the elements, which makes for some challenges. But what those people do behind the scenes is very much appreciated by the fans.
Game of Thrones season 7 premieres July 16, 2017.
