The Mother of Dragons will be flying into a galaxy far, far away as the female lead in the Star Wars spinoff movie of HAN SOLO.
Yes, you heard that right! Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, aka Mother of Dragons, aka Khaleesi, aka Breaker of Chains, and all that in the HBO saga Game of Thrones, will be joining the cast for the Star Wars spinoff standalone movie on Han Solo.
They didn’t release the name of her character nor what exactly her relationship to the main characters are, but obviously, they don’t want to give out too much information just yet. Clarke will be co-starring with Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover, who are already set to play Han and Lando, respectively.
Along with her role in Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke was seen in 2015’s Terminator Genisys, and earlier this year in the romantic drama movie adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ Me Before You.
The Han Solo project is set to be released in 2018.
