German DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE Secret Cover

It’s not often that the publishing company goes to efforts to give “easter eggs” for a book, but when they do, it can be quite cool.  Take this German cover of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, for instance, that Laini Taylor had only just found out about recently.  On the actually hardcover, underneath the dust jacket, is a sketch rendering of the same image on the dust jacket, which some may say is even more beautiful than the one on the jacket itself.

It may incite people who don’t speak German to purchase the book anyway, which I guess is only a plus for Laini.

What do you think?  You think other publishing companies should follow suit and be a little more creative in this sense?
