Elliot preens and causes utter chaos in new “behind the scenes” featurette from PETE’S DRAGON!
Ever wonder what it would be like to work with a giant furry dragon on a movie set? A hilarious new mockumentary-style featurette from the set of Disney’s Pete’s Dragon has the scoop!
Featuring film star Bryce Dallas Howard, a Dragon Trainer, and one super-frazzled hair and make-up team, the video jokes about on-set life complete with crazy shedding, seismic activity, and a few fire-breathing incidents as Elliot the dragon makes his way around. We especially love Bryce Dallas Howard noting her “experience working with giant reptiles”!
We’ve seen a lot of heart from the trailers for Pete’s Dragon so far, but not very much in terms of humor, so it’s great to see some humor from “behind the scenes” of the movie.
Pete’s Dragon hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford), a woodcarver, delights local children with stories of a mysterious dragon that lives deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. His daughter Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) believes these are just tall tales, until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley), a 10-year-old orphan who says he lives in the woods with a giant, friendly dragon. With help from a young girl named Natalie (Oona Laurence), Grace sets out to investigate if this fantastic claim can be true.
