Kristofer Hivju takes a break from his wildling duties to rule over the Seven Seas in the upcoming Justice League movie.
Wildling Tormund Giantsbane may understand all about winter, but Kristofer Hivju is a little more flexible as he’s going to be dealing with the liquid version of snow in Justice League. It was just recently revealed that Hivju will be joining the cast as an acient Atlantean king. I’m assuming he’ll be working closely with fellow Game of Thrones vet Jason Momoa, who’s playing Aquaman.
Possible spoilers in movie description below.
In Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman must assemble the rest of Earth’s metahumans in order prevent Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons from harnessing the power of three Mother Boxes, ancient alien supercomputers with immense powers, for evil. The three Mother Boxes have been on Earth for thousands of years, divvied up between the Amazonians, Atlanteans, and ancient humans, hidden from prying eyes to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Namely the hands of Apokoliptian forces. Presumably, Hivju’s character would be that of the ancient Atlantean king to whom one of the Mother Boxes was entrusted.
