FOX has tapped a veteran DEXTER actor for the role of infamous mob boss Salvatore “Sal” Maroni in their Batman prequel series, GOTHAM.
David Zayas will play the infamous crime leader as part of a cast that will also include Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, Donal Logue, and Jada Pinkett Smith, among others.
Maroni was most famously played by Eric Roberts in Christopher Nolan’s BATMAN movie trilogy.
