Jerome goes for ‘The Last Laugh’ in Episode 3 promo!
Detective Jim Gordon has plenty of enemies in Gotham, but few grate on his nerves quite so much as Jerome Valeska, a sociopath escapee from Arkham Asylum who may or may not be The Joker, depending on how straightforward you believe the show to be. Now, the two are set to face off in episode 3, ‘The Last Laugh’.
Laughing gas is certainly another hint that Jerome could be The Joker, but there’s a decent chance that this is all a big ol’ ruse. Actor Cameron Monaghan is only listed as a guest star for the show and the episode title suggests that this will be Jim and Jerome’s final showdown– for quite some time, at least. Will Jerome be killed or at least get lost in a mysterious fate by the end of this episode?

Gordon and Bullock track down a nemesis from the past, leading to a standoff between Jerome (guest-star Cameron Monaghan) and Gordon. Meanwhile, a magic show at the Gotham Children’s Hospital gala turns into a hostage situation.
Gotham returns with ‘The Last Laugh’ on Monday, October 5th on FOX.
