It’s the “Wrath of the Villains” as we enter the second half of season two of Gotham

“Wrath of the Villains” is the theme for Gotham‘s mid-season return for season two of the series, which follows the “Rise of the Villains” theme of the first half of the season. The key art shows the familiar faces of Gotham, with the addition of Nathan Darrow as Victor Fries, to be known later in life as Mr. Freeze.

Several things happened in the mid-season finale, one of them being Barbara Kean going into a coma after falling out of a window.  According to ComicBook.com, in a recent interview with Erin Richards, she didn’t reveal how long she’ll be out, but here’s what she had to say about when she comes out of her coma.

“Yeah, she comes back totally different” after each time she fades into the background, Richards said of Barbara.  “And that will happen again,” she teased.  “You know, you go into a coma, you’re going to come out a little different.  It’s ambiguous as to whether she is actually changed, or whether she’s not changed [and pretending].”

It’s probably safe to say that there will be some issues that Jim will have to deal with in regards to Barbara, including that of Barbara’s belief that they’re still go back together.

“You’re going to see her come to terms a little bit with what’s happened,” she said of Barbara’s return, “and try to go deeper into the truth with Jim, their relationship, their past, and their future.”
