GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, VOL. 2 Funkos revealed, including Ego the Living Planet 

Director James Gunn revealed that Ego the Living Planet, in Kurt Russell’s human form, will have his own Funko Pop! vinyl figure.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to see the upcoming line of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 vinyl figures from Funko, you can check them out below, of which includes the new character, Ego the Living Planet, who will be played by Kurt Russell – in his human form.

As you can see, Ego will not only be available in the original Pop! vinyl figures, but will also be part of the Dorbz collectibles as well. Included in the Dorbz collection are Rocket and (Baby) Groot and new characters Mantis and Taserface.

Funko’s Rock Candy line will have Gamora and Mantis, and the rest of the Pop! line will have all the Guardians, plus Mantis, Taserface, and Nebula. Of course, there will be variations of some of the figures, which will be exclusive for specific retail stores such as Hot Topic and Target.

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

These new figures are scheduled to be available for in retail stores starting in March.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
