THE DARKEST MINDS has cast Harris Dickinson for a role as one of the major characters in the YA movie adaptation.
Harris Dickinson, who has made few appearances on TV, has been cast to play Liam in the movie adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds.
His character Liam is one of the few surviving children of a worldly deadly pandemic, and he along with other young survivors develop superpowers.
Not much is known about Dickinson now, but his other major credit is that of the main character Frankie in the independent movie Beach Rats, which will be shown at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
As for The Darkest Minds, he’s the second actor announced for the film, following Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games, Everything, Everything.) Jennifer Yuh Nelson (the Kung Fu Panda films) will direct off a script by Chad Hodge (Fox’s Wayward Pines).
