All seven Harry Potter books plus The Hogwarts Library which includes Quidditch Through the Ages, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard will now be available to read in digital format with an Oyster subscription. Oyster is an e-reading subscription service comparable to Netflix in which you can stream an unlimited number of books for $9.95 a month.
Readers will also be able to customize their experience by choosing a Hogwarts house to read in! Fonts and colors will reflect the house you choose be it Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. You will also have the option to use the Sorting Hat to randomly place you in a house.
Oyster CEO Eric Stromberg said, that since Oyster launched in 2013, “the Harry Potter titles have consistently been some of the most requested books by our readers. About a year ago, we began discussions with J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore to bring Harry Potter to Oyster. Today, we’re excited to bring the biggest book series of all time to Oyster, while giving readers a new way to enjoy the books.”
