HARRY POTTER parody turns the films into a retro sitcom!

Harry Potter is so many things– books, movies, fantasy, adventure, inspiration, and more– but it’s definitely not a 90s sitcom. Until now, that is!

Using footage from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Comedy Central UK has reimagined Harry Potter as a zany British sitcom from the 90s that just happens to include some magical mayhem. They’ve even adjusted the screen quality and sizing for a realistic experience.

After the first two movies, we imagine it got harder to integrate the crazy action sequences and wonderfully over-the-top faces, given that the movies get darker and darker. Then again, all eight films are just a lot of footage to go through for a 54-second video.

Perhaps it’s the Potter-obsessed kidult in us, but we think we’d still watch that sitcom!
