Butterbeer ice cream is hitting shelves in the U.S.!
Brace yourselves: Butterbeer may be available at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in hot, frozen, or regular drink forms, but an ice cream version of the favorite flavor will soon be hitting shelves nationwide!
Yuengling Ice Cream company out of Pennsylvania just added a new butterbeer flavor to their line-up, describing it as “half buttercream ice cream, half butterscotch ice cream, and twisted with a butterscotch swirl.” This will definitely be a sweet treat, meant to match the popular Harry Potter beverage J.K. Rowling described as tasting like “a little bit like less sickly butterscotch.”
Check Yuengling’s website to see if the new ice cream will be available in your area. Unfortunately, the product seems to be only available in the US.
In the release statement (via Mashable), company president David Yuengling expressed a lot of joy in the new concoction.
“We are always looking for ways to inspire our fans and spark creativity. Whether it’s our flavor names and descriptions or the recipes themselves—we’re in the business of having fun. We hope we made J.K. Rowling proud with this flavor.”
