GAME OF THRONES Season 6 footage catches up with fan favorites!
In its yearly retrospective, HBO highlights the shows that were featured throughout the year. They then take a little time to highlight what’s to come in 2016, which is where the first of the Game of Thrones Season 6 footage makes an appearance!
Around the 2:15 mark, check out Daenerys Targaryen looking a little harried thanks to life on the road, Ramsay Bolton on horseback, and Cersei Lannister looking a bit humbled as she hugs her son close. It’s quick, but it’s there!

As the first trailer for Season 6– which focused heavily on Jon Snow, the Starks, and the Lannisters– reminded us that fans really have no clue what will happen going forward, given that the series has moved beyond what George R.R. Martin has written in novel form so far.
These glimpses aren’t giving much anyway either, but we’re actually looking forward to a mostly spoiler-free season of the most talked about show on television.
Game of Thrones returns in April 2016.
