Helena isn’t as far away as you think in ORPHAN BLACK’s “The Mitigation of Competition”!
Early on in Orphan Black Season 4, Donnie Hendrix suggested that pregnant Helena give her clone “sestra” Alison some space. In response, Helena left the Hendrix house and cut off contact with the whole group. The character wasn’t totally necessary for the dark Neolution plot dominating this season, but her wild unpredictability has been sorely missed. But on tonight’s episode, “The Mitigation of Competition,” Helena is finally back!
A new clip shows the first of Helena we’ve seen in weeks when the off-the-grid sestra decides to call up her twin, Sarah. It looks like Helena has created her own shelter in the wild and is living off the land, going back to some of the skills gained in her assassin days. But what else has she learned during her time on her own and will she be able to help Clone Club defeat Evie Cho?
Additionally, check out several photos from “The Mitigation of Competition” released by BBC America that reveal another story line: We see Sarah with a baby that seemingly lives with Frank and Roxie, Neolution’s two-person murder clean-up crew. Is this Trina’s baby, perhaps?
Orphan Black airs tonight on BBC America.
With Susan Duncan deposed, Sarah finds herself in the same position as Rachel – under the heel of a new HBIC – causing the archenemies to come together for the greater good. Cosima and Susan butt heads on the ethical implications of human experiments. Meanwhile, when the Hendrixes legal counsel, Adele, further investigates Donnie’s case, she begins to suspect Felix is keeping deep secrets. Helena’s arrival forces Felix to make a difficult decision.
