Kristian Nairn has a new “Hodor” moment in hilarious KFC advertisement!
Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn is famously known for one for just one word: “Hodor”. Last season revealed the crushing reason his character only speaks that one word in one of the show’s saddest scenes yet. There have been plenty of riffs on the “Hodor” / “Hold The Door” story line, but KFC in the UK and Ireland may have just won that competition with a little help from Kristian Nairn himself!
In a new advertisement called “Lunchtime is coming…”, the actor stands behind the counter at the restaurant, taking orders as the lunch rush comes in. Everyone insists upon the same meal, which starts to get to him juuuust a bit! Then, of course, a new meal option surfaces.
We’re glad Kristian has been able to have some fun with his big moment post-Game of Thrones career. The actor and DJ’s next on-screen role will be in next year’s film The Appearance.
