HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3 Has an Official Title!

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which takes place in June, will show a sneak peek of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3. 

We finally know what the third film of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon franchise is going to be – How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

The third and final film of the franchise brings back the original voices of the characters, which includes Jay Baruchel as Hiccup, America Ferrera as Astrid, T.J. Miller as Tuffnut, Kristen Wiig as Ruffnut, Jonah Hill as Snotlout, Kit Harington as Eret, Cate Blanchett as Valka, Craig Ferguson as Gobber, and Gerard Butler as Stoick the Vast (although we’re not sure how much of this character is in the film since *spoiler* Stoick died in the second film.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of DreamWorks Animation’s first traditional animated film, The Prince of Egypt, and the sneak peek of The Hidden World is part of the DreamWorks Animation presentation at the festival.

For HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD, series director Dean DeBlois returns alongside the all-star cast. The film is produced by Brad Lewis (Ratatouille, ANTZ) and HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON series producer Bonnie Arnold (Toy Story, Tarzan).

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is scheduled to fly into theaters March 1, 2019.
