The rumors have been swirling for about a week now, but Sony Pictures has just confirmed that Chloe Grace Moretz will take on the role of Cassie in the movie adaptation of Rick Yancey’s THE 5TH WAVE.
In THE 5TH WAVE, mankind has nearly been destroyed by the first four waves of an alien invasion. With no where to go and no one left to trust, Cassie goes on a desperate search to save her brother as the fifth wave begins. Along the way, she’ll have to break her cardinal rule and put her trust in a total stranger who may be her last hope.
