Oh, we have less than a month! Less. Than. A. Month! Until City of Heavenly Fire, the 6th AND final book of The Mortal Instruments series is out! I’m sure you’re more than excited to get your hands on it, just like I am. I haven’t been this excited for the release of a book since… well, since Cassandra Clare‘s last book release, Clockwork Princess, and tears were shed then, just as I’m sure they’ll be shed after this book.
This week’s reveal is a generous offering of not just an excerpt, but a very big excerpt. So much so that it might be a whole chapter. And this chapter deals with some lovely feels regarding Alec and, you guessed it, Magnus. Of course, there are other players in it, including a nice (or not-so-nice) conversation between Jace and Magnus. And there’s the hint of the darkness to come.
