J.K. Rowling Releasing New HARRY POTTER Archive Book

Never-before-seen HARRY POTTER material to come to light in exhibition guide book!

Harry Potter: A History of Magic: The Exhibition comes to the British Library from October 20, 2017 to February 28, 2018, and with it will come a small new taste of the Wizarding World.

Bloomsbury and the British Library are releasing Harry Potter: A Journey Through The History of Magic to “echo” the exhibition on the day of its opening this fall. The new guide book of sorts will include “unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling, magical illustrations from Jim Kay and weird, wonderful and inspiring artefacts that have been magically released from the archives at the British Library.”

J.K. Rowling has created a vast and detailed Wizarding World, but not every detail could be fit into the books for practical purposes. Hopefully, this new book will give us a look at some unused ideas and maybe even scenes or storylines that didn’t make it into the final books.

You can pre-order the book through the British Library if you’re in the UK. The rest of us will soon be able to pre-order via Bloomsbury, who seems to be shipping the book worldwide.

You can buy your tickets to the British Library’s Harry Potter Exhibition here.
