J.K. Rowling has been spilling some secrets about FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD!

There was already enough Harry Potter related excitement on April 22nd with the Broadway opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but J.K. Rowling decided to add to that excitement with some Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald news. During the intermission of Cursed Child Rowling and actress Jessica Williams decided to reveal the name of Williams’ character in the upcoming film. They shared the announcement with a video on Williams’ Instagram. Check it out below:

Williams will play Professor Eulalie “Lally” Hicks, who teaches at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is essentially American Hogwarts.

Rowling also put the news on Twitter, and later tweeted that we will only be getting a bit of this character in The Crimes of Grindelwald, but that she will appear heavily in the third Fantastic Beasts film:

Williams was announced as part of the cast back in October, and could not be more excited about her role: “It’s like my wildest dream … I could not have fathomed that when I was in the fourth grade reading these books, there would be a character I play that exists in this universe. It’s insane to me.”

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theatres on November 16th, 2018.
