Jack Whitehall Joins Disney’s THE JUNGLE CRUISE

British actor and comedian, Jack Whitehall, is set to join Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in Disney’s The Jungle Cruise.  Whitehall will play Emily Blunt’s brother, which is considered a key role in the storyline.

The film is based on theme park ride and will be directed by Juame Collet-Serra with the most current script written by Michael Green. The Jungle Cruise is set to start production in May.

Disney hopes to turn this into a possible film franchise similar The Pirates of the Caribbean series.

Whitehall is a stand-up comedian who starred in and created British sitcom, Bad Education. You’ll see him in Disney’s upcoming film, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms and his stand-up special, Jack Whitehall: At Large, is currently on Netflix.
