NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and SKYFALL actor Javier Bardem is in final talks to co-star alongside Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES!
Though the details of the film are still very hush-hush, Bardem will play a villainous character out for revenge against Jack Sparrow, whom he blames for the death of his brother. This unnamed baddie is searching for a mythical object that will secure his power and help him get his vengeance over Jack.
DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES is reportedly shooting in Australia for five months starting sometime next year.
Bardem’s wife, Penelope Cruz, started in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: OF STRANGER TIDES as Angelica, a twisted former love interest of Jack Sparrow.
