We’re thrilled to share a new video from debut author and former Buzzfeed Australia Jenna Guillaume, who is chatting all about her new novel, What I Like About Me! It’s a fun, meaningful story about femininity, self-confidence, and romance that’s “Dirty Dancing meets Dumplin, Down Under” and well… we’ll let Jenna tell you the rest!

Watch the video at the top of the post!

If Maisie Martin’s haphazard vacation adventure seems like something you’d love, you’re not alone. The novel has been praised by bestselling authors like Becky Albertalli (Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda) and Melina Marchetta (Jellicoe Road). In fact, the former is doing an Instagram livestream with Jenna TONIGHT at 8pm EST to celebrate the release!

What I Like About Me is only $2.99 across ebook platforms through the end of the day, so don’t miss out!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jenna Guillaume was the editor-at-large for BuzzFeed Australia, where she wrote about pop culture, identity, feminism, social media, and, most importantly, Chris Hemsworth’s biceps. Previously, she worked in the features department of Girlfriend magazine in Australia, writing about everything from bullying and body image to bad kisses and boy bands. She also contributed to Girlfriend Life Hacks, an essential guide to navigating a girl’s completely-awkward-but-totally-awesome teen years. Guillaume lives in Australia.
