Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel Are “Good Parents” In LOVE, SIMON Clip

Parenting is no easy task, but Mom and Dad Spier (Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel) are surprisingly chill when their son Simon (Nick Robinson) is a bit of a mess in a new look at Love, Simon, the movie adaptation of Becky Albertalli‘s YA novel Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda!

We’ve already seen bits and pieces of the scene (featured above) in the second movie trailer, but now we’re seeing everything play out. Simon and his best friend Leah (Katherine Langford) try to very quiet sneak into the Spier house and up the stairs after coming home from a party, but they’re intercepted by Simon’s mom and dad. Leah tries to play it off casually, but Simon maintains zero chill throughout the interaction. Once they head upstairs, Simon’s mom and dad consider the circumstances and choose their battles.

It’s a super cute scene that’s making us even more excited for this movie!

Love, Simon hits theaters on March 16, 2018.
