Jennifer Lawrence and her Mockingjay costumes
The Mockingjay costumes are highlighted in this featurette that will be included in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 Blu-Ray edition. We first see Jennifer Lawrence talk about the blandness of the apparel in District 13, which seems to emphasize more the Mockingjay outfit.
In the video above, costume designers Kurt and Bart explain more on the ideas that came about when designing Katniss’s battle garb, including the inspiration for some of its technical aspects.

The documentary, The Mockingjay Lives: The Making of Mockingjay Part 1, is two hours long and will included in the Digital HD release (Tuesday, February 17) and on the Blu-Ray disc of the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack as well as VOD (both out March 6).
