JESSICA JONES takes a leap and The Purple Man speaks out!
We’re about six weeks from the premiere of Jessica Jones on Netflix and two new teasers are showing off the style of the show, as well as giving us our first look at Jessica’s main foe, Zebediah Kilgrave aka The Purple Man!
First, Jessica’s timeline from previous teasers continues as she walks through Hell’s Kitchen before taking a super-powered leap up to her private eye agency, Alias Investigations.

Up next, we’ve got Jessica inside Alias Investigations, piecing together a puzzle of pictures. Jessica sets back from the slew of images– showing us actress Krysten Ritter’s face for the first time in any preview for the show– and glares before walking away. The pictures transform into the eyes and mouth of The Purple Man, who notably does not have purple skin like the comics, and we hear him speak out.

You can hear The Purple Man whispering of Jessica is the debut trailer for the show but it’s heavily faded into the background. This is the first time we hear him loud and clear.
Taking place after a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, the new series follows Jessica Jones as she rebuilds her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.
Jessica Jones is the second of five Marvel shows coming the Netflix. It follows Daredevil and precedes Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the hero team-up series.
The series hits Netflix on November 20, 2015.
