Bobby Singer to be “called upon” by Sam Winchester

We all know that people who die on Supernatural don’t really stay dead… most of the time.  But even if they did stay dead, that doesn’t mean they won’t show up every once in a while on a future episode. So goes the case with Bobby Singer, played by Jim Beaver.

In the episode, titled “Inside Man,” Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) need a little help from someone in heaven, so they turn to Bobby (Beaver). Elsewhere, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) face off.

Yes, we’ve gone almost a whole season without seeing an episode with Bobby in it, but when it comes to angels being on the show, you just never know who can pop up.  Such as it is, it’s been well over a year since we’ve seen Bobby since the last time he was on the show was the first episode of season nine in 2013, “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here.”  It will definitely be nice to see him again.

Now if we can just get Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jake Abel back on the show for some kind of family reunion episode, I’d be as happy as Dean Winchester with a whole apple pie.+
