John Oliver will lend his voice to Zazu in Jon Favreau’s Lion King movie. The voice of Zazu, the feathered, uptight political advisor to Mufasa and Simba, was originally played by Rowen Atkinson in the 1996 animated feature.
Oliver joins Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mustafa, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner as Timon.
The Lion King is scheduled for a July 19, 2019 release date.
