It looks like Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp will be putting down the rum and possibly taking up a wand!
We’re speculating, but we really don’t know if actor/musician Johnny Depp is going to be a wizard for the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel, but he will have a part in the movie!
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is keeping himself busy with films these days. Last May we saw him reprise his role as the Mad Hatter for Alice Through the Looking Glass, and we’ll get to see him again next May as he takes up his sword and rum for another turn as Captain Jack Sparrow for fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Before heading off to film his part in the Fantastic Beasts film early next year, he’ll be in London filming an updated version of the Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, which will be directed by Kenneth Branagh and also stars Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Daisy Ridley. That movie is scheduled to come out November 2017.
The first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film opens in theaters November 18th.
