Happy Hogan, aka Jon Favreau, gets ready to reprise his role as Tony Stark’s bodyguard and appear in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING!
The director who helped launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jon Favreau, will appear in next summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. In the comics, for years Happy Hogan pretended to be in the iron man suit to keep Tony Stark out of the limelight. However, in the first Iron Man, Marvel did a quick fake out, and Tony Stark admitted he was the pilot of the suit.

We knew Robert Downey Jr. had a role in the film, so this shouldn’t come as a shock. Jon Favreau has showed up in every standalone Iron Man movie, so it makes sense he’d appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming. It serves as another tie-in to the larger cinematic universe, while adding some extra humor.
A ton of casting news has been coming out for this movie lately, so keep it here at The Fandom for all your web-crawler news. Spider-Man: Homecoming debuts July 7th, 2017.
