Joseph Gatt Joins Tim Burton’s Live-Action Adaptation of DUMBO

Joseph Gatt is being added to the cast of Disney’s Tim Burton directed live-action remake of Dumbo. Gatt will portray a character by the name of Skellig.

The plot follows Holt (Colin Farrell), a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down after he returns from war. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) volunteers him to care for a newborn elephant whose oversize ears make him the laughingstock of the struggling circus. When Holt’s children discover the elephant can fly, entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) leap at the chance to make Dumbo a star.

The movie also stars DeObia Oparei, Nico Parker, Finley Hobbins, Roshan Seth, Sharon Rooney, and Douglas Reith.

Gatt’s other credits include Z Nation, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Thor.

Dumbo is scheduled to release March 29, 2019.
