Actor Josh Brolin has been tapped to play Thanos, the Marvel super-villain first introduced to fans on the big screen during a post-credits scene in THE AVENGERS.
Thanos is a major player in the Marvel Universe. A leader among an alien race with extreme powers, Thanos creates the Infinity Gauntlet, a weapon with the power to manipulate and destroy all elements of human life. What is it made from? Brolin has been tapped to voice Thanos in THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and director James Gunn recently confirmed that there will ties between the film in THE AVENGERS 3, meaning there’s a likelihood Brolin will be featured in both AVERNGERS sequels.
