Invictus actor Julian Lewis Jones has been cast in the DC superhero team movie Justice League.
Julian Lewis Jones, who played Nelson Mandela’s chief bodyguard in the Clint Eastwood-directed movie, Invictus, has revealed that he has a role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League film.
“I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play, but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made,” Jones said.
“It was filmed at Warner Bros. studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the U.K. and Iceland,” he added. “Directed by Zack Snyder, it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release, which will be next year.”
Warner Bros. has yet to confirm this information, but this is according to an interview with Wales Online with the actor himself.
Aside from Invictus, Julian Lewis Jones’s film credits include Zero Dark Thirty and The Eagle. He can currently be seen on the British series “Stella,” as the title character’s ex-husband. Karl.
