The Jungle Book voices are highlighted in the latest featurette of the live-action Disney film.
In this latest featurette on the upcoming Disney live-action movie, we get to meet the major Jungle Book voices that take on the animal characters that become part of a young boy’s adventure. Based off of Disney’s animated version of the Rudyard Kipling tale, the man-cub Mowgli (Neel Sethi) is forced to leave his family wolf pack and the jungle he calls home, and sets off on a journey to find others of his kind (humans, that is) to escape the dangerous tiger Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba), who finds man a threat to all of them, Mowgli included.
Mowgli is not alone, however, as he finds companionship with his black leopard mentor Bagheera (voiced by Sir Ben Kingsley) and his playful, easy-going bear friend Baloo (voiced by Bill Murray). And Shere Khan is not the only challenge on Mowgli’s adventure, as he crosses paths with such characters like the smooth-talking orangutan-like ape King Louie (voiced by Christopher Walken) and slithery python Kaa (voiced by Scarlett Johansson).
Also being voiced are Mowgli’s adoptive wolf mother, Raksha (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), and wolf Alpha, Akela (voiced by Giancarlo Esposito).
