Check out Steppenwolf’s design details thanks to a new figurine!
If there’s one thing that promotion for DC superhero team-up film Justice League has carefully avoided, it’s showing off too much of its villain, Steppenwolf, who is portrayed by Ciaran Hands via motion capture.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice released a deleted scene featuring the character, but the CGI was clearly incomplete. The Comic-Con trailer showed close-ups of Steppenwolf’s legs and ax as he lands on Wonder Woman’s home island of Themyscira, but it avoided giving fans any straight-on looks at the character as he fought the heroes throughout. Today, his full movie look was released for the first time– in plastic form, at least.
EW released a first look at some of the upcoming Justice League toys coming exclusively to Toys ‘R’ Us surrounding the films release, one of which is a detailed Steppenwolf figure (featured next to a parademon).

Obtaining the Steppenwolf figure is a little complicated, however. A piece of his design is included with figures for each of the six Justice League heroes– Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg,– so you can only complete his figure by purchasing all six of the others.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
