Katherine Langford, who is set to star in the Netflix adaptation of THIRTEEN REASONS WHY, has signed with WME!
WME, a talent agency, has recently signed rising Australian star, Katherine Langford. Langford is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming series, Thirteen Reasons Why.
Langford is making her professional acting debut with this series, which she will star in alongside Dylan Minnette and Kate Walsh. She plays the lead character in the series, Hannah.
Based on the bestselling book of the same name by Jay Asher, Thirteen Reasons Why will follow Hannah, a teenager who commits suicide and then leaves behind tapes explaining to thirteen different people how they played a role in her death. The series was created and written by Brian Yorkey, who has won a Pulitzer Prize, and is executive produced by Selena Gomez, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin and Anonymous Content. The series will most likely be released in the spring.
With such a big role, even if it is her first, it is no surprise that WME has decided to sign Katherine Langford. She seems to be on track for great things, and I cannot wait to see how she does in Thirteen Reasons Why!
