Kristen Bell Crowns Honorary Princess of Arendelle As FROZEN’s Anna

FROZEN touched the hearts of many, but Kristen Bell did something very special for a young girl going through a terrible situation.

At just six-years-old, Avery Huffman has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor known as DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) and has been battling her condition with radiation treatments. But as she learned recently, her favorite Disney idols are supporting her fight!

Like most young girls, Avery is obsessed with Disney’s Frozen. So she was pretty excited when Princess Anna of Arendelle (aka Kristen Bell) left her a personal message naming her an honorary princess, thanks to her bravery. The message even goes so far as to mention Avery’s favorite toy and her siblings, so the young honorary princess knows it was specially meant for her.

“Hi Avery! This is Princess Anna of Arendelle. I just wanted to call and say hello. So, hello! I hope you’re having a great day and playing a lot with HoppyJumpy. I love bunnies! Hold on. What’s that, Elsa? Wow, OK, I’ll tell her. Avery, my sister Elsa says that she’s heard that you’ve been such a good girl and that you’ve been so brave, she has decided to crown you as an honorary princess of Arendelle. Wow! That’s so exciting! I think you’ll make a great princess. Well, I’ve gotta go build a snowman with my friend Olaf now, so, would you tell Addison, Alex and Kate that I said hello? OK? Alright, bye bye!”
