Po The Panda parodies Star Wars with the help of his father!
With the simple sentence “Luke, I am your father”, Star Wars became the standard reference for all heroes with long lost daddy issues, even in animated film! Kung Fu Panda 3 happily parodies Star Wars ‘ well-known moment in their latest teaser, “A Father Rises”.
In the video, Po attempts to have a conversation with his biological father just after he’s made it up all the (many!) steps to the Jade Palace, but his adoptive father also has a few things to say!
Official Movie Synopsis:
When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
