Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson are taking forbidden romance to a whole new level in the latest trailer for next month’s Five Feet Apart.
The movie follows Stella (Richardson), a cystic fibrosis patient who has always lived for and by the rules to maintain her health. But her careful, isolated world shatters when she meets Will (Sprouse), another CF patient who is more concerned with living for the moment than living as long as possible. Together, they work to find the balance between their two ideals and find something special between them along the way.
This latest trailer, featured at the top of the post, is showing off more new footage than the last, including proof of the dangers Stella and Will pose to each other and some more time with Stella’s best friend, Poe (Moises Arias).
To celebrate the impending release, Haley Lu Richardson, Cole Sprouse, and director Justin Baldoni surprised fans at early screenings earlier this week. Check out a recap of the action:
Get your tissues ready– Five Feet Apart hits theaters on March 15, 2019.
The novel is currently the New York Times bestseller list, but the film isn’t a true book-to-movie adaptation. In a rare occurrence, the screenplay written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis came first and CBS Films out to have the emotional YA novel was adapted by Rachael Lippincott after the fact. Either way, it’s a big hit with readers! You can snag it now via Amazon.
