We get our first excerpts from book three of the Legend trilogy, Champion, and though they are small quotes, they do fill us with feels, don’t they?
As we know from the end of book two, Prodigy, the politics are changing now that there’s a new Elector in the Republic and Day has given the Colonies a bit of hope. But what of Day and June and their relationship during this stormy time?
We don’t get the answers through these quotes, but at least it’s something, right?
The first quote is from Day’s POV:
“My girlfriends and I want to know if you’re Day.” “Sorry, you got the wrong guy,” I reply. “But thanks for the compliment.” -Day #champion

And of course, we have to have one from June’s POV:
I could be compassionate, if I wanted. Metias would be merciful. But I was never as good a person as my brother. -June #champion
