LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Casts Younger Version of Obsidian

A younger version of Obsidian will take the lead in DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW!

It seems Vixen won’t be the only member of the Justice Society of America who will have multiple superhero iterations at different ages in the DC television universe. Obsidian will also switch between a younger and older version specifically for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

According to TVLine, actor Dan Payne will play Young Obsidian, the first version of the character to appear on the show and the hero in the current-day storyline.

It was previously announced that veteran actor Lance Henriksen will be playing Obsidian. He’ll be playing a future version of the character who is more in tune with the comics characters fans know and love.

Dan Payne previously had roles in Cabin In The Woods and Star Trek: Beyond, among other projects.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to return to The CW on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
