Lemony Snicket has been cast for Netflix’s A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS

Lemony Snicket, the narrator for A Series of Unfortunate Events, will be played by a Tick

We now know who’ll be narrating Netflix’s television adaptation of the beloved children’s books, A Series of Unfortunate Events. Patrick Warburton (The Tick, Family Guy) has been cast to play Lemony Snicket, the narrator of the book series by Daniel Handler.

Warburton will also appear on screen as the narrator, and joins Neil Patrick Harris, Malina Weissman, and Louis Hynes, who’ve been cast as Count Olaf, Violet, and Klaus, respectively.

The eight-episode series recounts the tale of the orphaned children Violet (Weissman), Klaus (Hynes) and Sunny Baudelaire at the hands of the villainous Count Olaf (Harris), as they face trials and tribulations, misfortunes and an evil uncle in search of their fortune, all in their quest to uncover the secret of their parents’ deaths.
