Lexa Goes Against Her People in Promo for The 100 ‘Thirteen’

Check out the trailer for The 100 episode 3×07, ‘Thirteen!’

Jus drein jus daun (meaning ‘blood must have blood’ in the grounder language, Trigedasleng) has been an important theme on The 100 for quite some time. But in recent episodes, Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) has been challenging this belief, something that not even the commander can do without causing a rift. And now it seems this tension will be brought to the surface, after the gruesome events at the grounder village in this weeks episode, in next week’s episode, ‘Thirteen.’ Check out the promo below:

This trailer makes it clear that Lexa’s struggle will most likely be the main focus of this episode, with her feelings for Clarke making her judgment seem clouded, though Lexa is adamant that this is not the case, which she proclaims at the end of the trailer. This should be a great insight into Lexa’s character, as we still don’t know much about her other than her skill in battle and her more rational beliefs.

The official synopsis for the episode is below, letting us know a little bit more about what’ll be happening in this episode, including a flashback, which we haven’t seen on The 100 in a while.

FLASHBACK TO A DARKER TIME — Lexa (guest star Alycia Debnam-Carey, “Fear the Walking Dead”) tries to maintain peace and order within the clans, and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) uncovers a strange and game-changing truth. Meanwhile, a flashback takes us into the darker chapter of humanity’s past. Paige Turco, Isaiah Washington, Henry Ian Cusick, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Devon Bostick, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Richard Harmon and Ricky Whittle also star.

This episode looks to be filled with action and the lurching risks that are usual on this show, and I am on the edge of my seat to find out what happens next.
