NECA makes life-sized Baby Groot figure from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, VOL. 2 digital files. 

Despite what director James Gunn has said about Baby Groot not being a marketing ploy for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 merchandise, it’s still going to be a big seller.

For that reason, NECA has designed a life-sized figure that’s supposed to go on sale in the spring of 2017. The cool thing is that NECA used the actual digital files that were used for the creation of our favorite tree-like character in the sequel.

It will be made from latex and foam and according to GeekTyrant.com, they will be hand drawn to get all the life-like details on it.

One thing that is obviously missing from all this is the proposed amount that NECA plans to sell the figure for. We’re pretty sure you might have to give your left arm, or limb.

It’s scheduled for an April 2017 release date.
