LOGAN slices deep in a gritty first clip!

Last night’s Superbowl was a big night for studios looking to show off their upcoming movies, and 20th Century Fox’s Logan was certainly no exception!

The movie continues its chilling, gritty advertising with the “Grace” TV spot, which shows Logan battling the odds with X-23, Charles Xavier, and Stephen Merchant as Caliban, who we haven’t seen in action much up until this point. It’s all set to an eerie, soulful rendition of “Amazing Grace.”

Early this morning, the studio tried to wipe out the memory of any other prominent movie spots by releasing the first clip from the movie. It features Wolverine and a friend in a showdown with some local tough guys. The clip definitely has that old western feel we’d hoped for in this movie!

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
