The FALLEN movie trailer is here and creators are looking for your support!

Remember when the cast of the Fallen movie, based off the popular YA series by Lauren Kate, was announced ages ago? April 10, 2014, to be exact. That was basically the last new we’d heard of the production until today, when the trailer finally made its way online!

The film stars Addison Timlin as Lucinda Price aka Luce, a young woman who has been plagued by strange visions her whole life. Things only get worse when she starts at a prestigious prep school and mets Daniel (Jeremy Irvine), a mysterious bad boy who will do just about anything to keep her at arms’ length. Slowly, Luce uncovers Daniel’s secret– he’s a fallen angel who she’s known for lifetimes. From there, things get really complicated.

There’s one thing you’ve sure noticed is missing from the video: a release date. That’s because the trailer was released to drum up interest and gage fan support. Author Lauren Kate and Executive Producer Ryan Cavanaugh are asking fans to retweet this tweet in support of the film with the goal being 500k retweets.

After that, perhaps we’ll get some movie news– or at least a Video On Demand release?

Fallen is the first in a five book series from Lauren Kate, which also features one novella. The latest book, Unforgiven, came out last fall and will soon be released in paperback.
