The L.A Times Festival of Books hosts their 18th annual event this weekend April 12th & 13th. Taking place at the USC campus the festival showcases upcoming literary art, films and novels. The weekend event is filled with amazing conversations with authors and some fun and exciting activities.
Here’s a little taste of what you can experience at the festival (or at least authors I recognize):

John Green, author of THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, in conversation with David L. Ulin (Conversation 1052)
YA Stage 4:30PM
Young Adult Fiction: Adrenaline Rush
Stephanie Kuehn, Abby McDonald, Lauren Oliver and Sarah Skilton
Moderator: Aaron Hartzler
Salvatori Computer Science Center (SAL 101)
Young Adult Fiction: It’s the End of the World As We Know It (Conversation 1045)

Moderator: Cecil Castellucci
Sunday:

If you are, or will be, around the Los Angeles area this weekend attend the festival if you can. It’s FREE and you will not get bored or regret it! (As a previous author escort volunteer I guarantee you will be entertained)
Did I also mention you can get some FREE souvenirs? Last year Summit Entertainment promoted both Ender’s Game and Divergent films by printing exclusive t-shirts. Check out pictures here.
