Watch The First Clip From LOVE, VICTOR

The first clip from Hulu’s Love, Simon spinoff series Love, Victor is here, and it’s as adorably awkward as we hoped it would be!

The show, built from the bones of Becky Albertalli‘s bestselling novel Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda, follows Creekwood High School student Victor (Michael Cimino) as he navigates his own sexuality and coming out with his family and friends.

The first clip aired during GLAAD’s Together In Pride livestream event last night and shows Victor having a literal steamy encounter with a schoolmate named Benji (George Sear, looking like a young Devon Sawa and reigniting all our 90s crushes) while applying for a job at the local coffee shop.

Watch the clip at the top of the post.

As you can see at the end of the clip, the series is due to start airing on June 19th. It looks like Hulu, who took over as the series home after it was deemed too mature for Disney+, will be releasing episodes week-by-week.

The series also stars Sophia Bush, Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, Rachel Naomi Hilson, and Bebe Wood.
